The Family Story Behind Anita Gelato
More than 22 years ago, Mama Anita and her youngest son, Nir, began making frozen desserts in a small family kitchen. What started as a treat shared with friends and neighbours soon gained a loyal following.
Nir prepared the gelato base, while Mama Anita made the jams folded through their creations. This partnership produced distinctive flavours filled with smooth textures, generous additions, and the warmth of a family recipe.
The small kitchen eventually grew into an international family of more than 160 Anita Gelato locations. Despite this growth, the values behind every scoop remain unchanged.
